B& b0 ^5 fResponsibilities - Human Resources Management: supervise a qualified counselling team/oversee their peer supervision system; manage hiring, training & supervision of department staff, volunteers & student interns; provide training opportunities to department staff; supervise/evaluation department staff.) `7 d. \8 F9 x5 W
& H6 K, r. x7 M7 D; n {! i8 m) X8 pPLUS: ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services; conduct regular staff meetings; ensure proper flow and documentation of information; ensure Human Resources Policies & Procedures are met and followed.( g2 i8 R3 {' b

Responsibilities - Finance & Administration: develop and implement annual goals and program objectives; monitor annual department budgets; review monthly financial statement and account for variances; prepare annual applications and budget proposals for funders in collaboration with the Fund Development Manager; ensure program standards and procedures reflect the YWCA's and funders' requirements.& m. N G+ p# [1 C/ o' q6 E
+ A$ K$ w7 X2 |# D sPLUS: submit monthly, semi-annual/annual reports to funders, as required; ensure proper & complete documentation is maintained for all clients, staff and program files; prepare a monthly departmental report for the E.D.; generate and manage a feedback system/databases to obtain data on client service.

Community Relations and Advocacy: create and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders; promote the Counselling Centre's programs and services.- U0 \# c, g2 i* |) I+ F6 ]
; {/ X5 {5 b6 E' IQualifications: at least 5 years successful experience at a senior management level with a nonprofit agency; post-secondary education in Psychology or a related field; extensive knowledge of the counselling process; must have a working knowledge of the legal issues involved in counselling, especially those relating to the area of family violence. + N. |$ v# I$ ?
/ Z8 W& m, g6 o& B' V8 HIn addition: excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experienced in budgeting, program delivery, and supervising staff; ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population; experience and proficiency in MS Office; equivalences will be considered.
