Context: The cook is responsible for the coordination/implementation of the planning, shopping, preparing, cooking & portioning of all meals and snacks for program participants, staff/guests, and for the overall management of SACRED house, including coordination of the maintenance and upkeep of the facility.

Z8 Y& v& @% ^Qualifications: High school diploma; Food Safe Course through Public Health (can be completed once hired); Diploma or equivalent experience in all aspects of food service including food production, menu planning and costing, serving sizes in line with directions given by dietician, food safety and sanitation regulations & food service activities and policies.& k* ^% I2 F' u8 B. @0 `2 A$ w, ?. p
5 B/ k2 H D5 O- X5 v" sWork Experience: experience in food planning, shopping, preparing, portioning and cooking for 6-20 individuals; experience with coordinating maintenance or coordinating the maintenance of home-like facility; experience working with vulnerable populations or individuals with eating disorders an asset.% P, }$ ]$ s E6 X" v
