and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a , o, L/ z2 h* `( }5 S" _
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 3 z& S& ?, J' D3 v; H% D
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
: K% J, Y: P4 K( t( Q$ r% A' H1 Awell as the script, magazine and book library. 4 H# {" ]! Y4 k8 [2 N

Duties: 2 J* ?. w! F4 o$ `7 \* w
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
' z6 C- g; ]3 |6 Y3 S- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
+ l1 w: _# p$ e! |% c- Implement a catalogue template for future use
; o( N8 H! ?/ R1 y: r/ P5 V- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ! i3 q m7 A- c; D% I+ v+ v6 C
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-0 l) y$ |( }2 e( S. t3 I+ i# a

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week 6 T, }4 n5 p4 y8 l7 R

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: & e% \0 X- i! [5 M; l* ^
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts 8 ?1 L: d7 l% r
- Strong organizational skills
- Q8 [$ K1 u1 o) \3 I& F! g- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
