The Fuels and Lubricants group delivers a full range of services for refined petroleum products. We perform petroleum analyses to Canadian (CGSB), American (ASTM), and international (ISO) specifications, and provide consultation and problem solving support on a range of issues, from specific problems to comprehensive systems. & F3 D& I/ W7 k O5 k. W r l

We require an experienced scientist or chemical technologist to manage the International Quality Assurance Exchange Program (IQAEP). Duties include coordinating participant registrations, developing and promoting new product lines, hosting user meetings, maintaining schedules; generating exchange reports; managing the web site; providing technical support for the computer system and preparing and distributing samples including homogeneity testing. Some general laboratory work and specific project management is also required.

Candidates should both possess a related degree and/or a diploma in Chemical Technology and at least five years of previous work experience in an analytical laboratory environment. Knowledge of quality assurance and statistical procedures are essential. You must have strong computer and communication skills, a high degree of physical capability, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Final candidates will be asked to undergo a security screening.
