1 b, A2 ]" K. w+ e9 q/ nThe Carbon and Energy Management (CEM) unit works with companies to proactively address greenhouse gas issues. It provides our customers with innovative research solutions to develop the most efficient technologies and processes to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency. CEM offers research expertise in clean energy, carbon and emissions, and energy supporting technologies.

As a Technologist you will work with a diverse team on projects related to laboratory and field projects involving bacterial cultures and coal samples as well as field work involving sample collection and atmospheric monitoring of CO2-enhanced oil and coal bed methane recovery operations.

Candidates require a diploma, a minimum of 1-2 years experience working within both laboratory and field environments with experience in gas chromatography set-up and operation of pressurized flow-through systems and should also be familiar with data acquisition and instrumentation. A strong mechanical aptitude and computer skills (with both hardware and software) is preferred. First Aid, CPR and H2S Alive will be considered an asset. This position can be physically demanding at times. Candidates with lesser qualifications will also be considered at a lower level.9 w9 y0 ]8 T1 r
