A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.7 _% L, R5 Z, y( e/ R; f

* a6 B. ^: d# v• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors' q5 t( J# U9 f/ H# c' r# m
• Answer multi line telephone system- c: d/ X6 w, S" C
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
4 M7 [. H( b3 }5 s5 L• Arrange courier services for all departments( }0 ]6 x0 u7 L
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers0 s& Y* `& O2 k

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail6 ~) P: ~2 y' I! o7 o t
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries# e7 t! b( U6 A9 I5 M7 W
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
- }# x5 }: Q# a- W7 R• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
; D: ?! }: k4 b+ Z0 u• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

Qualifications:9 b" @# B. T& e4 O ?

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures; j2 I t7 O- N- `4 [( \6 ~% V) u. D
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
& C+ m; E% a4 r: U' }8 }4 Q$ D• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset8 j1 W j$ M7 Y, W. O# V9 n
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 4 G6 L4 W) f D4 A* `2 W1 E5 N, P
• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion' T) l( O! t6 C2 c+ J. ]/ O
• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population
