FUNCTIONS: Specific duties vary with positions and Departments and involve performing general labouring duties that may include:

· Working in traffic during street construction/maintenance projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Completion of the eighth school grade or equivalent. Must be indicated on application/resume.

HOURS OF WORK:

1 W8 v8 V6 M) B) S2 BUp to 40 hours per week. Hours of work will vary with each position. These positions may be subject to shift work, providing coverage 7 days per week. Please indicate if you’re interested in shift work.

SALARY RANGE:

/ p# @ d! f" d5 b0 ^+ {7 {10M, Salary Grade: 013, starting at $14.10 (Hourly). Rates are based on employee status and length of service. The rates quoted are in accordance with an agreement between the Union and the City. CUPE Local 30 members are requested to send a copy of their application for this competition to the union office.
