- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
8 Y' {; I/ V; d; N) ]- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling4 k }% `8 U7 G0 D* C
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups, G F. t- x5 p) ~
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
% ]( c4 M' g. ]" A- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health1 F& ~' `4 u% A/ v7 L5 _8 a

! h" H% v6 t- V+ u$ _Key Qualifications:) i* _8 _" u9 m( {: u7 D
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
6 t5 I( M4 Z* H# O! Y- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement6 k7 m$ Z: n9 B, |+ q
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
% G/ s7 ~, l* s0 R2 }1 v2 [- Experience doing program development6 f7 _. [2 l' Y; Y' B5 T* ~
- Strong organizational and coordination skills' [8 C* H9 W7 o9 Y6 O, n
- Self-directed and able to take initiative& v, y, H9 D" U& k+ X N) G
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset! I' [% j ]5 P' p: w7 R6 S' P
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license
