% z  t  D0 w. L  r9 ~2 |* [ Directly supports the performance of comprehensive risk reviews on a multi-billion dollar portfolio of projects under development in the liquids pipeline division. This role is accountable for establishing and promoting internal standards and practices associated with the completion of risk reviews and risk management strategies on projects under development as well as providing ongoing support to Business Development Engineering personnel with completion of specific risk reviews.  
Responsibilities  
Ensures a high degree of consistency for risk reviews performed throughout BD Engineering by establishing and promoting internal standards and practices related to the performance of risk reviews and completion of risk management strategies.

Establishes and maintains methodologies and tools that are used in determining appropriate levels of contingency, accuracy ranges and allowances for potential market escalation for all levels of classified cost estimates.

) [% b9 a* F( b! Z* q+ b0 a7 \" }Establishes and maintains tools that are used in the performance of risk reviews and preparation of risk management strategies for projects under development.

Supports the completion of comprehensive risk reviews for proposed new capital projects, ensuring that the probability, potential impact and mitigation strategy for each significant risk item is adequately identified.  
Qualifications  
A Professional Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience that includes at least 5 years of experience as a risk management expert on projects directly related to the hydrocarbon pipeline or similar process industry or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent knowledge of risk management techniques/methodologies and related software applications.

Ability to assess challenges to developing accurate and comprehensive project risk assessments and develop/implement appropriate strategies to resolve those challenges.

Working knowledge of AACE guidelines.

Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, multi-project, and dynamic environment.
