SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
+ S4 K' U; E- ?# M# O; s. eoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
7 p: K2 x  m) Gthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
4 `' K7 P  i+ C1 y$ P2 ]! ucustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
7 r6 T+ J' Y" W" U( s- yDuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
- s) s, w( F8 U" m• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
2 a3 n. p4 A& A• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
  T% X! l. n* M( d( g/ mstock
1 Z0 D- a% K1 k( @9 z3 a3 x• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
/ J' U: S) O( c1 R+ S" i, b& xlooks under 25 years of age
" z- H9 ~: v# u) u7 K9 k: y0 oStore Responsibilities
1 F$ x+ i5 ?; y4 P9 y% b+ y. b# k• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
; R/ x, S/ ~0 y+ L8 l9 N2 `1 l• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
( I1 i+ W+ E) F• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
5 M0 ]' c4 i) n6 J% K7 C• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
9 _3 p! ]+ V6 N• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
5 |" ?# t# q2 x6 P4 ^/ ^2 T0 _• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
" r" N8 S7 G/ }! b& z" v6 xWorking Conditions
• Fast paced environment
  F+ a: v& w! i; O  w• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
" Y# Q' A: g0 A• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
: |/ ~5 |7 ]' ^. w2 s" i  l• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
