Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
* |4 Z! e; v/ QThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
/ h- H. v" ^$ P! P% M9 ?Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
  w9 P. O4 F* Z( O/ J) C; c0 X6 o  u) Usupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
' P" `: M/ a3 M$ `$ _implementing staff wellness programs;
8 C! n& N! r$ e. y% YŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
3 }' L8 |6 A# k& yeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
, b" w% a  s* h8 Y. h% J9 QŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
& Y- B* y  ?0 U- {1 i: _9 v0 A8 vŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
/ I5 \% P* K: D) u: F) {Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
