• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;4 K" s/ {1 c) L* U, a
• Equipment fabrication guidance;, h8 O) `5 q. \3 K7 z3 P5 U, q) {
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;6 t" M K r# n) B
• Others.

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. ( r$ P0 Z& K8 B8 r$ f6 n) D
• Equipment design experience is required;
2 T% j# |7 z# }! p$ J% K, f. p• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;3 j& O) Z. A3 d9 }0 h3 b
• Familiar with CAD software;
( W& t* P# _4 Z x# q; y! D• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;, L# q# }% N, E1 h* i/ @7 p
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

& v; }" W, w7 c& ~* D! YCompensation:
3 m6 { Z; O# Z4 \* p1 H" d/ FSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. - X: G- y ^# n7 z( |. E
