请问枫叶卡过期，renew 的还没有下来，可以去美国玩吗？

如题，枫叶卡已过期，renew的还没有拿到，已经申请了5个月，听说还要等两三个月。想和老公去美国玩，我们有美国的十年签证，请问这种情况，枫叶卡会影响我们回来吗？请知情的朋友们指点！多谢了！

you can't come back to Canada without PR card unless you apply a temporary one

I heard if you only go to US, even international student needn't a valid Canadian visa to come back- this is what the international center man tell me. but if you somewhere else rather than US, you definitely need a Canadian Visa.
