Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

8 x( q6 N/ E% NKey Responsibilities:

/ B8 t" k8 m6 K2 rWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
0 w  p! f/ g' B2 ~0 A0 iResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
9 v* M5 C/ I7 V0 Y- \Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications

; o1 g0 Y2 M% r7 Y6 y6 o) {Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
( z* Q" ?" Q5 X6 M0 xMinimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
# v! m/ x0 f1 [7 ?* Q0 _! A- P6 N* lUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
