The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. - u" B6 d$ g1 m2 @( r n4 R- M

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.5 B! o6 o) |$ H: p; ^+ H5 N

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

Administration:* ^# S8 {" N% s) N; s
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads) w( [% `, r1 |
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits) \: g$ e# ] T& M+ z% g6 ?/ y1 T
• Input and manage high volume of data5 k! |; {; I. E. H
• Update and maintain databases
) S# I0 X b% d, P. d3 ], D' V( f# G( b• Generate monthly reports and statistics
1 X5 b; d, H. X3 Q% p/ R5 ]; m• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation% j: V* g* v# T$ p- {) X
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
- a! @' |; s U' G0 u! g8 x$ A' n• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
0 @" l# [( ]: g+ r• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

; P9 A0 L: W/ K) R% U• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
8 N- ?2 l9 K8 k* z8 e• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ; I* [! Q9 U% `
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Q D9 C: X Z1 [• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work# E$ O0 P* m/ X, [/ M
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population' |, P6 d* n0 D: e, W0 s- C; P
• Strong customer service skills
0 Z7 Z+ M2 q: ~! r5 C• Strong organizational skills and abilities
/ N' v8 |8 i' q• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
