Duties
% F6 n+ b, |7 R9 K$ }, M8 ^+ {Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
6 e4 `7 R) H: a$ I( @' F JProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required: Y" o0 W% [& c6 l
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed/ a; @6 H! q; L1 _+ T
Performs related tasks as needed% c; L% R% L, ^' u! h. M
Qualifications
5 e+ N/ e6 _/ N. m) l& E, mDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred+ P' ?1 r0 C# e! K% M! q0 o
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
$ O$ }+ k" _9 G0 h7 ?' l1 QSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
8 h! L u9 _. X# R7 mKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred

Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
