9 L/ {. u, k" a3 R+ H6 Q0 ^The Mill Woods Seniors Association is currently hiring for the position of Public Relations and Fundraising Coordinator Our vision is to enhance the well-being of persons over fifty-five years of age in the Mill Woods and Meadows geographical area.
& l/ C; y6 Z4 W1 ]' S' FIn this 20hour a week position, your main responsibility will be to plan, implement and analyze public relations strategies to advance the organization’s goals. Activities will include preparation of materials, plan open houses, events and fundraisers as well as the nurturing of connections with individuals, businesses or organizations that support the agency’s goals. As a member of the staff team you will work closely with the Executive Director and Volunteer Committee to create awareness of MWSAC and pursue fundraising opportunities.
The position is currently a six-month-project position but there may opportunity for a continuation of the role if the project is successful. Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a professional attitude. A university degree or equivalent professional experience or training in public relations, marketing, or related field required.
