To start with you need to get a form for small business from Federal Government (you can phone in and ask a form, but the time is so tight, so you better go to Canada Place to get a form).  Then you can try to do it by yourself if it is a really small business.   Otherwise ask an accountant to do it for you.  However it would cost you a few hundred $.

You can go to Canada Place to register a GST # is and get it in half an hour
1 Z& b3 J' M- Y( HYou can also buy Simply Accounting to do your accounting.  Staple they have simply accounting for $49.  But for the first year  I think it is better to have an accountant do it for you.  Then you can DYO next year with reference to this one.
