Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

9 g6 y7 w5 z2 |6 I; S! g•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
% t- c" \/ d7 k; `•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
) Z' h( [0 s2 g7 _5 ^- N1 e, D7 g•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
. D) \" _1 O$ X8 I1 t' P•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
. O/ _6 K+ G( V( f* j( Ro        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
3 s& G, a0 j) q9 yo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
! S. k8 z" K' Mo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
* }. G  W8 ]% @•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
) S0 Y6 a- g2 Po        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
( l* |3 ^& ^' ko        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
6 ^# N. H$ ~# A* d7 bo        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

$ d$ {; A% t6 ]/ b•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
0 E# }% D4 U( A9 t9 Q" Y  U0 D0 k8 [o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
- ]7 x3 G* m+ v! W3 b•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.

•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
