This year there are close to 3,000 jobs that employers are ready to hire to at Canada Career Week Fair (CCWF). If you are currently working with someone seeking employment, it would be helpful to quickly review their resume now so they have time to make necessary changes before the event. In addition, please talk to your clients about being ready for an interview – it helps to be mentally prepared for this type of interaction ahead of time. For job seekers who come to the event with a resume they developed themselves, on-site Resume Critique services (not resume development) will be available. Anyone accessing this service will learn how to highlight specific training or skills noted in the resume when speaking with employers and will also receive suggestions for future resume changes.: b, w; g$ Q/ f/ n9 W. x& T) \
' e g G2 g" h! S- ^$ u! qCCWF takes place November 18th and 19th at the Edmonton Expo Centre, formerly Northlands. The event is free to the public (no parking or admission charges). Posters and handbills containing CCWF hours and other relevant information have been sent to each HS service site in the region for display and distribution to the general public and our clients.
