Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

7 U0 x' o, ~6 RWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

1 q& L6 ]$ a! q+ h+ o5 u. N$ i. pThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
  s" c- i0 z4 V1 m5 \( Z4 o* Y Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
; f% v. `9 d9 k7 T$ q; r3 \ Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
& @5 s" u/ h5 o# S# a) {! b Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
/ _4 u* N# C7 x8 m. K( n0 z7 h9 l Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
. j/ N! c" p( A/ A Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
