attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

! O* L# N- }$ ]7 F7 _of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 5 O7 B: b6 m/ M4 r+ v4 C/ `
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 6 X) S) H' }, K/ K
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
$ e c- Z) O8 fevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
: X. a: B/ }; ~ Q& H2 \Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on # V- x* N4 S7 R- R( a; H9 X
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
- J* m4 T3 o/ Oand then continue to meet with for the entire year.4 R) u/ j, Z/ H$ m
$ H" W! a6 ?9 L1 |" f/ e9 a' TBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
, }( n$ U, r" Bto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
2 i ~( a6 S5 Y) g' p- d7 K; xyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
* \5 v0 d8 y: h1 F: S- k; LONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 6 p1 s6 v5 r9 Z F' o" \
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece / K9 q0 ~+ l- H. R3 v
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus # D" l& _8 J' K) [
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
& Q/ N( p- |* l# b2 f8 F8 f0 t$ A6 QInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
0 T. ?1 C' y: @3 l4 n. Q/ L7 Gbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the $ v. V2 C* z6 h9 {
two days of Orientation).
