   Glass Worker – (Manufacturing Plant 1, Edmonton)

Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Mississauga and sales branches/offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Atlantic Canada.

We are currently recruiting for Glass Workers for our Edmonton Manufacturing Plant.

) T! a" X: ?+ T The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities will include:
•Lift single piece of glass between 5-30 Ibs.
9 y0 H+ _% _/ s•Understand quality issues of glass: quality of glass edge, proper technique when pulling glass out of harp rack slots, scratches, defects, etc.
•Fill and empty washer tanks and keep tanks clean
( \. _' a% x6 D  T+ |. B•Follow proper pattern and placement of glass
! z) L5 I8 k( x! `' C( b7 x$ |•Keep work area clean.
% f& V& j* b) N# V5 F•Keep up good pace to keep line moving.
% z3 N$ g3 X9 K- h" \
Primary Qualifications Required:
& o# Q( s; {7 V# z4 v  B•Basic English communication skills
) D. [9 |9 F. v•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools
4 q8 L* C; d# B9 A/ g•Good eye sight.
•Able to lift up to 50 lbs
•Ability to work under constant pressure
•Willing to do multi tasks when needed as member of the team
2 [+ q/ g& \! ~•Must be a good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment

•Check Units to pass Quality Expectation
•Fill sealed units with Aragon

•Hot melt super spacer units
•Move Racks of sealed units to designated lines

Primary Qualifications Required:
•Basic English communication skills
•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools
