$ |7 y. F, }7 a% @+ kThe successful candidate will be responsible for (but not restricted to):
0 @/ C4 K8 H# s9 B; i$ u. @•Developing, validating and reviewing HACCP system and QA Programs.. [4 n- ^6 s% ~4 j
•Ensuring that we produce consistent, safe and highest quality products through monitoring and testing ) I& W( X, R3 m. \/ E
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. M- |; F4 T3 b• Develop, validate and review HACCP plans.+ o! D5 c! Q f% z8 c0 l& V
• Assist in developing and reviewing QA programs.8 l8 E0 r$ b. q5 M" `5 p& M
• Perform quality and food safety inspections based on established processes to ensure products meet the quality standards and food safety requirements.
/ e9 @+ v+ `5 y. Y6 h• Review HACCP related documents and initiate corrective actions as required.% I* J0 k* R& _% H' L+ l5 R
• Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the HACCP program and recommend corrective actions for deviations. \7 O: c9 P n3 v2 N5 L
• Provide support and coaching to employees and production management to maintain and improve facility QA practices and procedures.- j" p% l$ J t
• Perform data entry and data analysis tasks.
7 W+ k b* ~1 V• Participate in meetings with the goal of improving food safety and food quality

QUALIFICATIONS:
+ j9 U3 {# \1 Z* ?/ x• Bachelor of Science in Food Science from a recognized post-secondary institution 1 p' n, z4 f/ w: Q3 v4 O4 a! R) x
• Permanent resident in Canada or a Canadian Citizen* j+ |% m: G, Z
• Strong understanding of Sanitation, HACCP, CCP’s, Food Safety and GMP’s) f( ]. S" S* k
• Strong attention to details
! [1 K; h6 ` T4 a% v" V• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision" ]$ {+ x* C- k7 l( l% o
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; V/ \* w4 j' R/ ~8 V
• Must have good computer skills in MS Office and Excel
