% i4 }4 B3 A9 [4 D* ]" lDue to our continued growth, the company requires a new Financial Analyst to assist the department in providing a competitive advantage and maintaining a continued focus on operational excellence across the organization. Based in the Edmonton Corporate Office and reporting to the Finance Projects Manager, this new position is an integral part of the Planning Department and will be involved in all of the planning functions with direct access to senior executives including the CFO, CEO and COO.

- o2 y5 K$ @; OPosition Overview:
: A& _8 t9 h6 c3 |Specific duties include: interpreting operating results, analysis of business metrics, trend analysis, financial modeling and creating financial reports and presentations.  You will be responsible for analyzing trends in the market place, calculating rates of return, analyzing the financials and determining present and future financial performance.  Other duties may include reviewing proposals for profitability, providing variance analysis on annual budgets and forecasts, and preparation and/or review of Capital Budgets.  You will also have to deal with various ad hoc projects as requested by senior management.  

Qualifications:
1 p8 q+ w" K& [4 L2 kThe successful candidate will have combination of analysis experience coupled with a University degree, professional designation or equivalent.  Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills are required to manipulate data and develop and maintain complex models.

Skills Required:
4 r7 [6 G* d1 z+ A•        Ability to excel in a fast paced, fluid working environment;
•        Proven ability to manage a wide variety of assignments at once and manage competing deadlines.
•        Experience interacting across different levels of an organization;
•        Superior written and verbal communication skills;
•        Able to build strong working relationships with business unit leaders.
•        Experience working in a retail driven environment will be an asset.
