Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 308 y6 ~+ f. s, ]2 M% P- X/ \
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at8 D8 [" ^2 E/ T3 k, P0 r
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
4 A2 @ @" Y2 \+ |: [" W2 ]venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies," l9 t3 t4 y, \% X
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
+ @* g; z8 c& q7 q/ A4 z! jparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and" s) A$ u2 z" E" z$ A) [
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
8 p' v( c. X" t7 u# Gtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,' s4 L( d5 [( l+ L7 h, x7 R! y
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking/ y1 t7 l e u( a( _ X1 v
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
: \7 ^# x+ k7 Z2 s' Houtings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
7 p7 S! B: Q' _7 S; N$ \# [excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night+ s7 r+ m; o3 h! j
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or4 p. { C& k) `0 @/ B D2 u
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents7 ~; u' y K( \( G7 M
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint6 g$ C3 t5 b5 [* e9 ^; m& v1 |

7 K& g0 q, ]" G LQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in N, L' i) F) n/ v$ l& g b
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
( n! x" k6 P, b6 J# d' Zfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,* R7 d0 N$ p- ]* s# z- o) C: x8 N
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
& O3 T8 A$ q( a$ \8 _a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
' N2 i/ T8 j# @7 Y' U& i$ `/ iof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
+ `- A* W9 j/ o' f' P" y6 U8 pskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,4 }2 M5 }- m% a/ H- t( k2 z: h
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
