Most Chinese have developed a learning habit, that is, taking notes. No matter what we hear or see, as long as it is possible, we would like to write it down. The purpose of taking note is for later reference and review.+ _3 E0 o2 `7 O8 C' q% W. q

/ a( D |( R" HHow many immigrants would like constantly to go over your notes? No time, No patience to do the review job if there is not test waiting for you. right?

Moreover, when you got the notes, you were getting lazy to memory unconsciously. You took it for grant that no matter what happened, you possessed a everlasting written record for those knowledge and why bothering to worry about those things to be forgotten? In fact, just because of the written record on our notes, we didn’t full take advantage of our brain to study, to memory. (at least in my learning case).

B" F, J6 {+ u$ _4 \& N Most of us found that immigrant children could speak fluent English within one year in school. It is not because they work harder than us on spoken English; rather, they never take notes in order to improve their language. They try their best to use their brain to pick up every words they heard and apply it right away.

9 r* l8 D% ?* Y Since there are too many theories about how children learn a second or third language that I learned from my graduated courses, I couldn’t share it here for the limited space (maybe I should develop a 20 pages paper as my project preparation, I will think about it, haha ); S4 c- W& Y9 ]9 }7 w
