We are holding our first Ski Trip on Friday, December 21 at Snow Valley in Edmonton.

Gathering Location: HUB LRT Station Parking Lot

We’ll leave for the ski resort at 9: 45am, so please be on time.
This ski event will run from 10am – 5:30pm.

Non-members = $35
CSSA MEMBERSHIP WILL NOT BE SOLD WHEN REGISTERING THE SKI TRIP.
& J, T7 k" W4 @3 f3 x0 o! oThis price includes: Area pass/ski lift ticket, ski rental, boot rental, pole rental, and transportation.
For people who have his/her own car attending this ski trip, if you would like to volunteer to take other people with you, we would deduct $5 from your payment to compensate your gas.

# i, X" T) g$ l; [+ nSki lessons could be purchased at $7 per person for a one-hour class taught by professional ski instructors working at the Snow Valley.
5 students per class per instructor.
Class spots are limited, so book your spots early with the CSSA.

, [! B: b; f1 r* E" c3 R& {3 FFor registration and payment, please come to the CSSA office located #618, Student Union Building (SUB), University of Alberta for the following time:
11am – 12pm, Sunday, December 16
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Tuesday, December 18
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Thursday, December 20
We only accept CASH.
& u% c) k" s% l( v  `& s  d3 s; ?Upon payment we will ask you to read and sign a waiver so that no personal injuries could be blamed to the CSSA.

Some common questions:
" L- l: l! U! I" f1.        We will provide transportation to the ski resort and back to U of A.
2.        Wear your gloves (better to be water-proof for beginners), scarves, hats. And for beginners no jeans (please wear water-proof pants) because you will fall and you’ll get extremely wet and cold.
3.        Food: you could bring your own food. There is a microwave in the lounge area, or just bring $10 of cash and buy food from the cafeteria.
4.        It’s not a dangerous sport, and you’ll find so much fun. And after this event, if you think you like ski, pay attention to the CSSA Mail List in the future because we’ll have other ski trips to the Mountain, either Banff or Jasper, maybe both. If you love speed and challenge, this is a sport for you.
5.        Personal belongs: There are lockers at the check-in area so that you could lock your personal stuff that you don’t want to bring with you while you are skiing. The locker costs $1 per locker for the whole day. Or simply just don’t bring so many stuff.

Just confirmed the ski class for beginners. It's 1:45pm on Friday. $7 per person with one hour class taught by instructors at Snow Valley.

Thursday, December 20, from 4:30pm to 5:30pm is the last session for Ski Trip Registration at #618 Student Union Building (SUB) of the University of Alberta.
