- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.. E: P2 n* }4 C! }
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
) N' E: R9 ] M$ `* @! u+ l3 ^. Y9 ]- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team2 `& F( c' H5 g5 `- a9 C

- post secondary diploma
# E8 p; n) N+ a) `+ W m: e- customer service and office clerical experiences

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community( Q$ c# J2 S# `* k" I" s$ R
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services0 q/ t+ b- p7 A. G
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
+ G+ X' J1 O* B- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies' r* H; L$ y5 a+ g: |
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
5 z" F9 v/ P: q( ]# j* n* G! Q- update ASSIST website
& i5 i4 V& A2 n3 e$ \- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
5 h1 d0 ?) _% D; d' A- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services1 S B6 `2 c1 ~0 {$ |
- assist in writing proposal for ISP7 j- s5 y1 }! O3 A7 r
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP: F! z7 ]. O4 C1 @8 Z3 I1 y
- hold regular meetings with ISP team

Qualifications3 T. X' c3 i: H
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
, ?; o+ \1 f- {: I# a" @- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
& ^5 x7 \: `7 n2 n B1 [2 i) h- experience in community work and immigrant services! y3 n( S1 a4 \8 N( B
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
