Duties
2 R( n S, ^ g6 \5 }, m$ w3 RWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
/ K1 D+ a, J7 z8 l7 x4 ~) f- pResponsible for specialization in workstation image management" X" F% D+ o7 f# p1 }, A1 k) ~8 x
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
$ {, @) ^5 \1 fProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support2 `8 o- U& Y/ P- z* T( J
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff) W# b/ i+ ]" r0 D
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
7 |8 @0 F7 ]4 q# n v2 ~3 }9 h& o8 ]Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Qualifications
; ~, E5 n* `1 h' j: WTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
; Z! q, D0 s4 s hRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
j4 n1 ]5 V% hMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
" Y: L/ C# L) T9 q# KExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)& I7 [* E3 s$ ~
