The Fuels and Lubricants group delivers a full range of services for petroleum products. We perform petroleum analyses to Canadian (CGSB), American (ASTM), and international (ISO) specifications, and provide consultation and problem solving support on a range of issues, from specific problems to comprehensive systems.
; x# C. C; w2 p  \3 Q7 O
1 ~. F7 X& S9 w. PWe require a Chemical Technologist to perform routine analyses on petroleum products according to prescribed methods. Main responsibilities include a variety of general laboratory operations including analyzing and disposing of petroleum samples, maintaining laboratory supplies and equipment, computer entry of sample data, assisting senior technologists and other general laboratory duties.  Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security screening.

Candidates should have a diploma in Chemical Technology and previous work experience in an analytical laboratory environment would be an asset.  Familiarity with petroleum related laboratory equipment and basic computer knowledge is preferred. You must have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.  

This position offers a comprehensive benefit package in a stimulating work environment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and is included in the bargaining unit.

没想到ARC还有这样的职位,我认识的ARC中的人清一色是PH.D的.希望有条件的朋友试一试,他们福利很好.

什么清一色的PHD， NAIT 平均50的都被招去做夏天的工作，而把全A的人拒在门外。

这个我就不知道了. 我认识的几个朋友都是PH.D的,薪水都不错而且有5周的假期.

& n! j8 C: M( z当然是和同等的研究机构,例如UA的研究机构(医学和纳米科技除外)或私人公司的研究机构例如Syncrude的研究中心比较了.其实他们的工资比senior的工程师要拿的少一点儿,这也是我觉得不公平的地方之一.
