Duties
* ?( e5 x' N! }( k9 @( K• Assists with general office duties including managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls and faxes, composing letters and memos; greeting, screening and directing visitors & W, T0 }. r$ _# |& m
• Supports the Director's calendar and makes travel arrangements; prepares travel and expense reimbursement claims
; z/ a! `3 Z0 C- j( N3 B# M• Maintains electronic and paper calendars of the Institute 8 w5 l8 d/ h* K3 Z
• Organizes meetings including setting dates, booking rooms, setting up conference phones, arranging parking, ordering catering, taking minutes and distributing agendas and minutes 8 j+ n# b4 t+ A. V, c O
• Processes the day to day financial transactions and monthly reconciliation of expenses # L! e" f/ `% Y9 ?7 Q, `4 y: l/ j
• Provides communications support for Institute programs and events through promotion, writing, editing, coordinating graphic design and printing
& v+ i+ S& G$ h B5 j# l6 X0 M2 V• Translates, drafts, revises, edits and designs Institute reports and publications including monthly newsletter d# v* E/ d, A) y$ ]8 \1 }* c
• Communication both written and oral with China educational institutions both in Chinese and English + w% I$ `& U, K
• Maintains the Institute website and identifies opportunities for ongoing improvements 1 g+ y: g* R, c# J
• Special projects as required

• High School diploma plus secretarial/business support training
5 m3 V" ]% s: N8 \% s4 b+ H2 k. F• Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required 6 G _/ K; Y( W u7 j
• Minimum of two years of related experience

• Knowledge of website management and PeopleSoft is desirable ; G: m: X8 H, y/ i) s, i
