As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. / \1 P0 C# {( q# ]
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:# ^: T: b5 n* t0 z* h# p
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. - F+ L. j5 w) i- p0 P2 M" g5 _
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
$ y5 M% d2 ]4 P: A) RPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. : }2 p1 l( J" g' r G" W4 m& O7 G3 s
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. & G+ |: j! N! c) z3 ^% M0 E
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. ( b5 P: @) {5 A2 W H0 Y0 S
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 3 Y, X+ C b S# V$ o, A" H5 N" M* X( o
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. ! l+ z/ f# S# k9 N% m( b$ W4 m) [
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
/ Y; H9 G+ e, sResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. 2 ^4 u6 b! c; f6 E. [+ c
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
9 A8 o* k% Z' r% C+ Y9 e; m2 j• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.; `# E: S+ J7 ?( t7 N* }7 m; t- Q7 `
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.3 Q; u# h" e& R4 t, k. ]: s
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.) \: y/ a3 ?; A( ~
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
