- w$ a8 g" j2 ~% D2 R0 ?/ HOur Environmental Management and Health Business Unit located in Vegreville works with private and public sector clients to identify problems and provide solutions to deal with environmental assessment and impact issues industrial processes and toxicity of environmental contaminants as it relates to human and animal health.3 x6 A9 ?9 m: t" n# m$ R0 E
. @+ ]( P- P2 }" J0 r9 MWe require a chemical technologist to perform analyses of water, air, soil and other matrices for various organic constituents using chromatographic and mass spectrometry instrumentation. The successful candidate will log and prepare samples for analysis; perform instrumental analysis; calibrate and maintain equipment; interpret data; and assist with generating client reports. Final candidates will be asked to undergo a security screening.

Candidates should have a diploma in Chemical Technology or Biological Sciences and some experience at organic analysis. Computer and quality assurance and quality control knowledge are essential. You must have strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
