- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the 4 w3 v" B" [0 W
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
9 J4 K( l0 H) A& ?- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program# _: @4 A4 B* X% e6 b5 ]+ d% G
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
. f! b0 f" z: J. y% k5 q) z- Z- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program ' \% r% e8 O2 s: q: M' I

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

' W% K# M; \4 ~, v) C( h( `- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood . {, J' b, K$ a; |: ?
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education* _' j' k$ Z" a3 i6 u K
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
' s5 T; G8 e. m8 S4 p- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills" T' B; W+ X' K% W- U# y
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities7 v9 D% M7 r, v$ M3 J7 X3 f
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
" s4 y) `2 z. z. h8 v- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
' p* a5 G1 L. p- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)

- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009/ Y* H2 f/ F; Y# t5 Y& _: R. l" O
