Responsibilities:
' O1 N1 g0 m8 u" l1 ~-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
! E( [: o$ p/ j+ h3 [0 y$ ?        implementation of the Summer Camps
- m& D9 \6 ~  c5 z3 [% a: _-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
! H3 a' U( z) P/ |' P/ E-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

Qualifications:
$ [& P$ f! W1 a/ ^3 k  v-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- ^: N0 ~. h8 A& ?4 G9 p. U-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
5 S. u; c5 v. J; n+ A$ K4 Q-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
  _* f! ^9 @8 l+ L" T-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
& u9 @+ M+ d: C: L% z$ M-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
% {6 n/ ]4 @! V; o2 h0 p! t3 c% r-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
$ c5 q4 f  R. |* P: F6 a# [! v-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
1 ^" T) a. ~  T2 q-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
3 ^4 ?+ d8 m- T9 D-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
