Job Duties / Responsibilities$ s( U q* R9 x& X3 G3 m B. A
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
6 L: G9 U% b# M* S5 ^• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support9 p& J7 R# e( H& j! \3 V- w
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel' ]# z. W/ ~" m3 b# w$ [
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
# Y1 K0 ^! L( V8 o• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
; G' A5 {" [; R. V+ ]* J• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams t% n4 \0 B2 c- c$ Z9 X
• Autocad and Microstation drafting" p% ~! _& w/ E2 [) y" |
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
. i) [/ q* y- I' z- I( F4 p• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
5 {, z9 _, h. n/ M% O• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
! M! [; P: V4 H" a6 k• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
$ J) w( d6 |3 M4 O: i9 K+ u• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator! m! a0 A. ^# a, i
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
& o6 G2 ~* u! @! j; w• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
% I9 [! u4 d; p• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset, O# [7 E) w( ~' \/ _& b4 A
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
