# Y$ S( d' x1 l- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
, _! d2 Y: b* r0 l3 N- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling8 w: w$ L! b1 E- k: t1 G" z
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
% Y( ?+ W! I- N0 {0 X- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
, J" o; L5 R* X4 N, J- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health, W% E: p' ^& n) N4 e# @' c$ x

Key Qualifications:
& l# E9 @, @- x; f0 C- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
, P2 S/ P e! [. e9 j- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement( p" r2 x- H! i4 c+ s3 p# w
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
) \' Y& c5 |" k1 x' L" x- Experience doing program development
0 J: s1 o8 l$ A( W' w Z2 p- Strong organizational and coordination skills G. V7 v$ Y! Q) g, ~" ?* y& o2 a
- Self-directed and able to take initiative+ Q9 h' d' v/ \' D
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset* {6 h+ y0 ]) i0 j$ b8 [
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

Assets:
* G* K/ S8 z9 Q6 x- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
