+ s8 j! X2 l, MThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
3 R4 v! y+ ?; o& ?( U% b% v§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
. y$ v) n- O2 d4 y§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
5 \$ l2 y4 U$ n- q( P§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times& K6 _6 N. R( G- B4 j
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk m R" b& O6 H( u7 \
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
) U8 R i# f' f/ e§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties4 P3 P- h! f( t7 G) M B

Qualifications:
4 W9 q' M. H& D! h# J' ~' c§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). ) M# u$ l% U' j% P. a/ d: Z

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access

§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk

§ Coordinate and support end user training
