We perform petroleum analyses to Canadian (CGSB), American (ASTM), and international (ISO) specifications, and provide consultation and problem solving support on a range of issues, from specific problems to comprehensive systems. - w1 ^0 i% W8 p0 Z) K |
6 \; \, _$ _$ d! W& GWe require two (2) Chemical Technologists to assist in analyses of unrefined petroleum products according to prescribed methods. Main responsibilities include a variety of general laboratory operations including Dean Stark sample extractions, analyzing and disposing of petroleum samples, maintaining laboratory supplies and equipment, assisting senior technologists and other general laboratory duties. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security screening.

7 h1 c+ Y/ [; Q# }; V kCandidates will have a diploma in Chemical Technology and previous work experience in an analytical laboratory environment would be an asset. Equivalencies could be considered. Familiarity with petroleum related laboratory equipment, computer skills and knowledge of quality assurance and quality control protocols are desirable. You must have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. 4 O; D& Q" J0 M! f- g" t

Each position is for a one (1) year term and offers a comprehensive benefit package in a stimulating work environment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and is included in the bargaining unit.
