Department Information  
Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

3 P, Z$ j1 \! g# h' Z5 |& h Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

+ H' N1 u: a5 u4 l6 C- kWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

" V! ]( p/ X6 t0 wLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

/ I$ a$ i6 B0 D2 A, L1 F& C" `Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

+ m& d7 H( {6 {/ B3 q4 R4 WProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

A+ c- A3 L9 Z4 ISpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
3 g" I* E- n- J, Z Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
$ O- ]- _. b4 }; \4 S7 o: U. A* k, V
7 P' S! E7 q: G; j9 X$ JGas industry experience preferred;
) j9 v) T9 r+ r) x1 G/ x. V
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
+ l& ^2 l7 B. [+ @9 _7 L, z
7 {) E) v% q5 p6 vExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
' I* ?7 y1 e% q$ D9 Z+ C
