Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
9 G) r2 I4 b0 ZManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
: _, K$ M/ [* P9 w" C) WThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
! Y+ N9 T9 x( i2 e" ?. DŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
9 Y# `% F" `- x2 Qimplementing staff wellness programs;
# j' q+ u, x' @7 ~# C$ O" YŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

8 @& m1 K  ^: r; n" U1 EŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
( p2 K$ M! q. \( JŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
$ @2 q+ D9 U$ s: |; g) F' kŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
  a% x/ R1 T& C" T+ overbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
