Cabin Services Training Coordinator (Vancouver)

This newly created position will coordinate, manage, and assist with the development of all aspects of the safety and service training required for Cabin Crew Members. - q+ \' o- |3 X5 F• Ensuring all Cabin Crew members are scheduled for the appropriate training to maintain their qualifications;. Z. C& | w# p! w
. J: e+ H' U2 _• Arranging the logistics of all training programs;+ \: N @5 J5 L5 \; e

• Acting as a liaison between the Cabin Safety Manager and Crew Scheduling for the purpose of scheduling training for Cabin Crew member and Cabin Safety Trainers;

• The coordination and scheduling of Cabin Safety audits;

9 `/ Z4 K) Y1 D, R- S$ I g6 B• Coordinating training programs and timetables with the Cabin Services Resource Manager and the Cabin Services Service Manager;

• Maintaining the Harmony Airways Training Centre, including the solicitation of the facilities and equipment to other airlines for rental; ' T3 _/ c' o; u
! L; m' d( T( M# o2 D+ J• Establishing and maintaining an auditing and recording system to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and that all operations conform to established Harmony Standards and Procedures;

$ O- S1 G; @# A- X8 f0 F0 \• Disciplinary measures associated with non-compliance on behalf of Cabin Crew members;) X& a- C q1 Y9 O& Q7 v% @" w

• Managing, monitoring and upgrading the Computer Based Training systems and software;
) ?; o1 x* k, W6 o$ v( M/ d% [

• Serving as a member on the Flight Safety and OHS Committees;3 l \* A, g) Z' V9 W; T

• Operating as a Crew member to conduct Cabin Safety audits on a monthly basis as directed by the Cabin Safety Manager.

• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast paced working environment;

• Experience in program development;" |& z+ L5 N1 S" a* k: q* z
• 2 l. j" ]; [ z, l3 }3 [. `
• Previous training experience;4 c( S4 L: x( _8 `& w9 S

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint;

• Understands the importance of quality training and promotes cabin safety;

• Comfortable with public speaking and dealing with outside agencies and regulatory bodies;+ [) S+ ]6 F* w6 o' v* j

• University degree/College Diploma/Certificate;9 E5 z3 }$ l- d
• 0 s( m8 K9 H8 z" a
• Is or will become a qualified Cabin Crew member and will maintain qualifications;2 [ Q, [& k+ q/ @) s, O) g
• $ y, k. L# E5 l
• A second language would be an asset, preferably French, Mandarin & Cantonese;
