The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. / L' e8 _2 c) K$ ~) h+ Q2 T# F

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.* a9 I, Z) ?. c \4 Z$ ?

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
6 e+ u+ d- ~5 F# C& N3 ]6 P• Answer multi line telephone system

2 T, Z) e1 t2 W/ u• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads) X9 t* z4 q$ Q* u+ w
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits

4 A _9 e+ ~3 T8 }, w8 d- Q( m( z• Update and maintain databases
5 G& Q: P% b5 ]* H) C• Generate monthly reports and statistics
" G4 Z% s8 o* a• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
+ e- B" a# T) N3 C, J$ v x; Z• Process payments and complete weekly deposits

• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors/ S ]9 m; }3 l/ O; X" s
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre E- p5 a6 q; [9 I; x* S* j
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients9 d' P5 o6 @1 p7 P/ ^

Qualifications:2 @; N: e1 x2 m6 z1 R. ~; w( i

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
. E% p; `1 X2 A" |, f# J% H+ Z• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
) m7 v6 [" o6 r; _$ o% A5 p• Excellent verbal and written communication skills4 L7 _ p7 z6 t5 O, Q
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work* E6 f- h) n& r, q8 l8 ?
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
