Breaking News: Death at Jackpine mine

Shell Canada has confirmed to Mix News that a death has occurred at the Shell Albian Sands Jackpine oil sands mine 75 kilometres north of Fort McMurray.

1 i) t6 D Q" {: XEmergency crews responded to the scene at around 7:15 am, and the individual was transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre where they were pronounced dead.

' y3 J; S$ v, {RCMP are on scene and the name of the deceased has not been released.
