The Position
The Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit: A Capital Campaign for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, is looking for a
# L1 D# o4 H* m5 i3 v: @( Vskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
Duties and responsibilities
$ c1 p6 G8 s1 ?- v. A1 l0 r; sGeneral
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
& A5 g6 {2 n7 [9 udevelopment, distributes and files same
( T* c2 V3 }7 C; H) p; x• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
• Archives files
• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
• Appointment and meeting scheduling
& W$ Y, |2 L- `4 h- m9 \6 j• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
Administration
0 v( C7 ~1 ^4 a: R5 P* \• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
( V* c% o2 X2 w, J' Lrequired
Accounting
+ P0 v2 ?; N' i9 E, V• Accounts payable complete to checks
• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
# W1 X; F  a5 o6 r  b• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
Qualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
' s  c; K$ C5 m7 l. Y• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
! W3 n2 F5 e/ C% H) c1 p4 Usoftware (Income Manager)
3 G# x3 O9 N8 _" C# T5 K• Ability to flex time as required
• Clear criminal record check
9 `1 |, D0 x; w5 |• Requires personal vehicle

2 C3 h8 l* I  Q• Part time – 24 hours per week.

Community Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.

grow and work together.
