Whether handling baggage or freight, or operating complex loading equipment our Station Attendants play an important role in ensuring that our aircraft are ready for a secure and on-time departure.

This is a permanent part-time position which guarantees a minimum of 20 hours (maximum of 32 hours) per week. The current salary is $15.34/hr as per collective agreement.  In addition, Air Canada offers a wide range of benefits to its employees, including medical insurance, travel privileges, and a profit sharing plan.

•Drive and operate ramp-servicing vehicles and equipment
•Marshal or tow aircraft to gate positions for passenger boarding and deplaning and for loading and unloading of cargo

Position Requirements:
•Available for shift work - early mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
4 y; t% w3 M3 E8 f+ j5 P5 \. b •Able to lift heavy objects weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms) and willingness to work  under various climatic conditions
% v- S" K! h+ N •Capacity to work  within strict timelines in order to maintain on-time departures while ensuring Safety First at all times

Conditions of Employment:
•Eligible candidates must be Canadian citizens (or have landed immigrant status) possessing a valid driver's license and be available to attend 2-4 weeks of full time training (attendance is mandatory).      
•Candidates must also pass security clearance and obtain the Transport Canada security card. (To obtain this security clearance candidates must undergo a thorough criminal background search, please see Transport Canada website for additional details)
