Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:7 u  r8 K$ R. \5 t& f% z
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
$ D) F- s/ j5 K" b; e•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
( L4 M1 q0 u# v7 V- Y9 [( X•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
/ _* K- J% N2 [2 h•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.8 n/ Q) f/ _: M) X  r$ p2 z
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 2 v1 @. Z& y+ _; e( X) B
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
3 X  @. c: ?7 |# A•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.6 d: H+ _- b  J1 j, N7 c- I4 T! B
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.; L# e) o3 k. ~! H
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
+ M" h8 @2 c+ q+ g% @2 Q& I•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
  F' g3 o7 i/ S  E/ ~3 |4 L•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

$ d  m0 B; ^' T, B9 G7 A•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

0 v& Y8 i% R8 d# c% y•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:  M% N5 `6 b9 Q. o( |- F- I2 z
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. , ~  J, T! e3 v7 t: ^5 L1 }* M  Z
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
: ?# B, i7 n! w! f; Q•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
1 a3 y+ x2 P2 ]•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.' |7 C3 R6 g$ n, H1 E
