Hours of Work: Part-time (21 hours per week)

Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST# @! q! U4 A c% C/ ~
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
- T& {/ x0 d# J/ l0 b1 S• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter% m0 n. s7 Z: r8 O9 d
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
% c, s- d2 X3 U% O2 I; d/ l: T/ s$ y; C$ Q• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker* [1 g4 U- o- A) Q: |
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events- i8 I/ ?5 K0 _5 z. {8 z1 o. t
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events$ m+ i" I6 y* t: Q; ?, a* S% L" p
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean- m9 Y; Y% C. g$ q1 v
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters
) H5 b# N! ^: \% N( B• Maintain front counter service files

• Good English writing and oral communication skills

• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:
4 ?: \: [. Y/ f5 l• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience # E/ u& V7 z) }% }
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
