You will get it four to six weeks after you give your Canadian address to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) by using the Address notification tool.

You have 180 days from the date on which you became a permanent resident to give your new address to CIC. If you do not do so within this time, the PR card will be cancelled and you will have to apply for a new card.
